Tea-towels that represent Families
Here are the great tea-towel artworks made by families of Albion primary School.
The youngest child in each family brought a kit home of fabric markers, a linen tea-towel and a note to explain the task. Then on the family picnic night the tea-towels were displayed together on the school fence.
It is a wonderful display of artwork made by families together, showing what things make their family special and different from others, but at the same time demonstrating things that we have in common such as pride in the places that we come from, the things that we do together as families and the things that make us belong together.
A lot of us are in awe of the wonderful artwork and the original ideas. Each tea-towel is so wonderful and different from all of the others!
Thankyou to the families and children for making this project so wonderful!
